Welcome!
This guide outlines the opportunities available to, and provides resources for, prospective and current interns at the University of Redlands Armacost Library.
Interns are typically students currently enrolled in an M.L.I.S. or related program at an A.L.A. accredited university. Please view our guidelines for more information.
Internship Guidelines
Please read the document below for an account of the mutually beneficial learning experience we would like to cultivate during your internship. These guidelines do not replace, but rather add to, the contract we sign in coordination with your academic program.
Current Internship Opportunities
Please read the proposals below in order to find an opening that suits your particular interests and abilities.
If you see something you like, please contact the librarian noted in the proposal with questions. A current resume, and letter of interest will be requested from those making serious inquiries.
IE LEADS
Inland Empire Librarians Educated to Advance Diversity and Service (IE LEADS) is a scholarship program offered in conjunction with the UCR University Libraries, ten Inland Empire Libraries, including the University of Redlands Armacost Library, and the UCLA Department of Information Studies. It is made possible by a generous grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program.
