Ask a Librarian for help with research questions, finding articles, ebooks, and more.
Use one of our multiple Ask Us contacts (excluding phone) for help with your account.
We continue robust Interlibrary Loan services
The Armacost Library remains closed while the County of San Bernardino is under an extended stay-at-home order.
For in-depth support with your research, make an appointment for a remote consultation via email, phone, or WebEx with a librarian who is a subject specialist in your discipline (major, minor, other subject area).
Set up Course Reserves for your courses. Determine your Fair Use rights to link that material in Moodle.
Encourage your students to get help from a librarian in seeking scholarly and popular materials to complete assignments and research projects.
Librarians continue to offer information literacy and library research instruction for your classes. Contact your subject librarian.
Your Subject Librarians continue to purchase books, videos, and other material in digital/electronic formats to support curriculum and student research. Your librarians can also support adoption of Open Educational Resources for your courses. Please contact the librarian for your subject area.
Armacost Library staff will continue to process submissions of capstone papers, honors theses, and dissertations. Please click the link for guidance.
Returning Physical Materials
Due dates for physical materials have been extended, again, to February 1, 2021. Books can be returned to the book drop located at the back (north) entrance of the Armacost Library Building or by (media) mail.
Requesting Physical Materials
Beginning June 1, 2020, Armacost Library staff will begin curbside pickup service for physical items in our collections. Continue to request articles and books through Interlibrary Loan; we will prioritize digital copies but also fulfill when print is available. We will continue to attempt to fulfill book purchase requests with ebooks for broader access.
Armacost Library maintains access to a wealth of digital materials available remotely.
Continue to Search Armacost Resources. Search for books, journals, and video temporarily or permanently open access.
Research databases provide access to full-text articles, ebooks, videos and more.
Having trouble finding what you need? Please use our Ask Us contacts (excluding phone). Or, contact the Library staff or faculty member by email.
