Zotero: A Guide on Getting Started: 3. Adding Sources

This Zotero guide will walk you through the basics of installing and using Zotero, a free citation management software.

Steps to Add Sources to Your Library

1. Locate a source you want to add from the Library's collections.

2. Click on the Zotero Connector to add the source to My Library.

3. The Zotero Connector icon will change depending on the source you are looking at (e.g. webpage, article, video, book)

Note: Check your citations in your Zotero Library, and make any grammatical edits to the citation, if needed. When you use Zotero in Word, making sure your citations are correctly inputed into your Library will save lots of time.
